Climate Talks

• The 20th session of the Conference of Parties (COP) and the 10th session of the Conference of Parties serving as the Meeting of Parties (CMP) to the Kyoto Protocol is hosted in Lima(Peru) in Dec, 2014. They aim at reducing the carbon emissions and are important for the success of the next climate talks. The talks are held under the UNFCCC(United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change).

• The previous climate talks, i.e The COP-19 and CMP-9 are hosted by Warsaw(Poland) in Nov, 2013. The next climate talks, i.e. the COP-21 and CMP-11 are hosted by Paris(France) in Dec, 2015.
